A Second Chance

by Greg Digneo on May 5, 2009

I would like to introduce you to Jennifer Gault–Varner, a successful mom, wife, and entrepreneur.

Ten years ago and shortly upon returning from her honeymoon, her husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer.  He was just 30 and Jennifer 25.  The doctors told them they would most likely never have children, but one week before his chemo treatments began, Jennifer learned she was pregnant. Because of her second chance at a family, Jennifer wanted to cherish every possible moment she could spend with them. In order to do this, she made the conscience decision to become financially secure and be able to work from home. She decided to turn her long standing dream of starting a business into a reality and launched BellaBluMaternity.com.  She was self-taught in the world of e-commerce, and learned from her mistakes.  Her company was successful, and she has since it to focus on her newest passion – helping other women become online entrepreneurs through her company Pure eCommerce.

Pure eCommerce provides turn-key websites for sale – or as Jennifer likes to say, she creates and sells online “businesses in a box.”  She uses her experience and expertise to concept each business, then she designs the website, creates the logos, buys the domain name, and researches and secures all inventory.  In addition, Pure eCommerce is involved in a charity that donates money to St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is the hospital that treated her husband for his cancer.

Jennifer’s husband beat the odds and this year is celebrating 10 years of being cancer free and has joined her as her business partner. Through her good nature and determination, Jennifer was able to turn adversity into a success story twice over.
